Premium 1.5% lanthanated tungsten electrodes (WL15) with gold color-coded tip. 1/16" (1.6mm) diameter x 7" (175mm) length. Non-radioactive alternative to thoriated tungsten with excellent arc starting at low currents. Contains 1.3-1.7% lanthanum oxide for superior performance. Ideal for DC welding on titanium alloys, nickel alloys, copper alloys, and non-corrosive steels. 35-40% longer service life compared to standard electrodes.
