Nexalloy ER5554 aluminum TIG welding rod for high-temperature transportation applications. 1/16" (1.6mm) diameter in 10lb box. AWS A5.10 certified. Specifically formulated for welding 5454 and similar base metals used where temperatures exceed 150°F (65°C). Common applications: over-the-road trailers, rail tank cars, chemical tanks, and high-temperature storage vessels. Superior wire surface finish ensures trouble-free welding. Exceptional cleanliness ensures sound weldments. 36" rod length. Use with 100% Argon shielding gas.
