Heavy-duty mezzanine pivot safety gate provides safe, controlled transfer of pallets between floor level and elevated mezzanine platforms. The gate features a counterbalanced pivoting arm design — when the gate is raised to allow forklift pallet placement, the rear safety barrier simultaneously closes to protect personnel on the mezzanine deck. When the gate is lowered after the pallet is placed, the rear barrier opens to allow workers to access the load. This dual-gate interlock system ensures that a protective barrier is always in place on at least one side of the pallet drop zone, eliminating the risk of personnel falling through an open gate during loading operations. Constructed from heavy structural steel tubing with safety yellow powder-coat finish for maximum visibility. Gate frame accommodates standard 48" x 40" pallets with generous clearance. Vertical picket infill on the pivot arm prevents personnel pass-through. Floor-mounted vertical posts with heavy base plates anchor to the mezzanine deck structure. Spring-assist counterbalance makes operation smooth and effortless. Meets OSHA 1910.29 and IBC requirements for mezzanine fall protection during material handling operations.
