Our open web joist mezzanine platforms transform wasted overhead space into productive storage, work areas, or office space at a fraction of the cost of building expansion. Pre-engineered open web steel joists manufactured from 50 ksi high-strength material provide outstanding strength-to-weight performance. Standard joist depths range from 8" to 14" with larger profiles available for increased loading or deflection requirements. Standard live load capacity is 125 lbs per square foot, adjustable to suit any requirement. Modular design allows for future additions, modifications, or relocation if your needs change. Available flooring options include corrugated galvanized roof deck with plywood, checker plate, bar grating, open steel plank, or composite decking. Includes engineered staircases, 42" high HSS handrails with vertical pickets and 5" kick plates meeting all municipal and provincial building codes, and your choice of pivot, sliding, or swing gates.
