Code-compliant 42" high mezzanine handrail system constructed from structural HSS (Hollow Structural Section) steel tubing. System includes top rail, mid rail, and 5" high kick plate at the base to prevent tools, parts, and other items from rolling off the platform edge. Vertical pickets spaced at maximum 4" centres to prevent pass-through (meets all building codes for industrial occupancy). Handrails are designed to withstand a 200 lb concentrated load at any point along the top rail as required by code. Modular post-and-rail sections bolt together for fast field assembly. Standard section lengths of 4, 6, 8, and 10 feet with custom lengths available. Posts mount to the mezzanine deck edge with bolted base plates. Includes corner sections, end posts, and gate openings as required by your platform layout. Powder-coated in safety orange, yellow, or custom colour to match your facility standards.
