Corrugated galvanized steel roof deck is the most popular and cost-effective mezzanine flooring system. Ribbed galvanized steel panels span between the mezzanine joists, providing a strong, lightweight structural deck. Typically topped with 5/8" or 3/4" tongue-and-groove plywood for a smooth, finished walking and rolling surface. The galvanized steel resists corrosion and provides an integrated fire barrier. Standard deck profiles include 1.5" Type B and 3" Type N in various gauges to match your span and load requirements. Panels interlock along their edges for a continuous, rigid floor system. Quick installation with self-drilling screws into the supporting joists. Available cut to length for your specific joist spacing. The combination of galvanized deck plus plywood creates a floor system rated for 125 PSF or higher depending on joist spacing and deck gauge. Also available with bar grating, open steel plank, or diamond plate top surfaces for specific applications.
